New to Naturalness?
Are you a new natural who has recently decided to “let go of the lye”? Do you have a 3 or 4 pictures of your newly natural hair that you would like to show the world? If you are currently transitioning and are not 100% natural, please wait until you have BC’d (chopped off the relaxer) before sending an email. I want to showcase freshly BC’d and newly natural pictures as an inspiration to those who are still considering going natural. I am especially looking for those beautiful TWA pictures, so if you have any, be sure to include 1 or 2! I am glad to hear that you’ve come to that decision. May I offer some advice? Just let your hair be or like you said “let” your hair “breathe”. Leave it alone and let it do what it does. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you love it. That was one of the reasons why I cut mine off again. I needed to just leave it alone and let it “do what it do”. I just wanted to leave a comment, I really enjoyed all the pictures and the postive affirmations. I’ve been struggling for years with trying to go natural. I’ve tried transitioning using braids and twistes and wigs. But It, seems like my hair is at a stand still. Last year I had my hair colored and all the colored hair broke off. So I’m now back to were I started. This time I’ve made a promise to let my hair breathe and in brace my beautiful locs.
